All pictures are landscapes, in Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Scotland or France and are painted A4 size (21cm x 30cm), in Portrait style, and if framed originals are purchased, they are framed in a small square section light oak frame with an ivory board mount, giving a total size approximately A3 (38cm x 48cm). Additional pictures are available that are not shown on the website, and images of other available pictures can be e-mailed in jpeg format if a specific request is submitted to jdstar@globalnet.co.uk.

If originals are to be posted, acrylic sheet will be used rather than glass in the frame. This is not considered to be such a good material as the surface can scratch. If glass in the frame is required, it will be best for arrangements to be discussed and an alternative, more safe delivery procedure agreed, depending upon the distance to be transported.

Prints are usually supplied unframed and rolled into a 75mm cardboard tube, or they can be supplied in a narrow mount and packaged between two sheets of rigid hardboard. Cards will be sent folded, and are blank inside, with their size being a conventional card size of 12cm wide and 17cm high. Envelopes will be supplied with the purchase.

Since the quality of the image on the website is not of the same quality as the original painting or even a print, it is suggested that an inspection of a picture is desirable before purchase.
